3 Idiots..!!

Watched this movie on Sunday night..

Aamir khan's character was simply cool as if he had no tension in his life. He was at his best. Overall good movie..

Loved this song from the movie.

Saari umra-hum
Mar-mar ke jee liye
Ik pal to ab humein
Jeene do jeene do.

Give me some sun-shine..
Give me some ray..
Give me another chance..
Wanna grow up once again.

Bachpan to gaya
Jawani bhi gayi
Ik pal to ab humein
Jeene do, jeene do.

Saari umra-hum
Mar-mar ke jee liye
Ik pal to ab humein
Jeene do jeene do.

Give me some sun-shine..
Give me some ray..
Give me another chance..
Wanna grow up once again.

Don't be serious, be sincere."!!

Speech by Chetan Bhagat at Symbiosis

Don’t just have career or academic goals. Set goals to give you a balanced, successful life. I use the word balanced before successful. Balanced means ensuring your health, relationships, mental peace are all in good order.

There is no point of getting a promotion on the day of your breakup. There is no fun in driving a car if your back hurts. Shopping is not enjoyable if your mind is full of tensions.

"Life is one of those races in nursery school where you have to run with a marble in a spoon kept in your mouth. If the marble falls, there is no point coming first. Same is with life where health and relationships are the marble. Your striving is only worth it if there is harmony in your life. Else, you may achieve the success, but this spark, this feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die..

One thing about nurturing the spark - don't take life seriously. Life is not meant to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here. We are like a pre-paid card with limited validity. If we are lucky, we may last another 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends. Do we really need to get so worked up? …………….

It's ok, bunk a few classes, scoring low in couple of papers, goof up a few interviews, take leave from work, fall in love, little fights with your spouse. We are people, not programmed devices........." :)

"Don't be serious, be sincere."!!

Touching Story

Touching life story.....

A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation day, his father called him into his private study room. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.

Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible. Angrily, he raised his voice at his father and said, "With all your money you gave me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the holybook.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business.

He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things. When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.

He began to search his father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. As he read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind the Bible.

It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words... PAID IN FULL..

Got this as mail from one of my friend.. Even many of us act or take decisions hastily without having full knowledge of the situation or what the other person mean to say for which we regret later...
But words once spoken and actions once taken cannot be undone no matter how hard we try..
